Key West Mango Margaritas

Makes about six delicious drinks

  • 3 small mangoes (preferably Haydn or Valencia), peeled and cored (about  half a cup)
  • 6 oz tequila
  • 5 oz triple sec
  • Juice of four limes
  • Juice of one lemon
  • (Total juice should be about 4 or 5 ounces)

Add all ingredients to a blender and fill with ice (Note: these are not frozen margaritas.  The ice is used to cool and dilute the fruit juice).  Blend until smooth.  Pour into a pitcher and serve drinks up in martini glasses with a twist of orange peel and an orchid blossom (optional).  Distribute drinks and enjoy a beautiful Key West sunset (mandatory).
